He remained in the group he grew up in to serve not only as an accountant but eventually a lot a lot more.

Grant was actively concerned in serving his alma mater around the past 40 a long time! He is a previous President of the Alumni Board of Directors, served three years on the GMC Board of Trustees, and because 1986, has been a member of the GMC Basis, and as of 2021, served as the Chairman for the Foundation. On top of that, Grant coached mens soccer in the Junior College in the early 2000s, volunteered at several sporting gatherings and institutional fundraisers, and was an active member of the GMC loved ones. In 1998 he attained the GMC Service Award for his involvement with the university, and in 2003 he attained the GMC Group Services Award.

He was involved in a small little bit of every thing. You could always rely on David Grant to be supportive of Georgia Navy Higher education and the Milledgeville and Baldwin County local community in any way.

At Ga Navy School, we impart to our college students the worth of remaining an reliable servant chief, and there is no far better demonstration of how to be that than David Grant, reported GMC President, Lieutenant Basic William B. Caldwell, IV, Usa (Ret). He touched GMC in so many techniques. You could not have acknowledged he was even concerned with something or volunteering his time but it was by no means a surprise when you observed out he was behind some initiative. We refer to our students, college, employees, donors, and friends as our GMC Loved ones, and David was the prime instance of what that represents. Though we miss out on him enormously, Davids legacy of management will forever be remembered at Ga Navy Faculty.

Our views and our prayers go out to his spouse Keith, their little ones and their family members, and to the prolonged family. So several of the Grant loved ones have attended GMC Prep and our Junior Higher education and continue to be concerned with GMC and its pupils.
