Christina Hurt, pursuing her Elementary Education degree, embodies the essence of perseverance and dedication. Despite returning to college later in life, Christina’s commitment to her education shines through, earning her this esteemed recognition.

Christina has displayed remarkable resilience and determination since embarking on her educational journey with GMC in January 2023. She embraced each academic hurdle with tenacity, steadily progressing towards her goal of earning her degree. Her steadfast dedication to her studies has seen her enrolled full-time each term, and she is currently on track to graduate in December 2024.

Christina’s journey is a testament to her exceptional character and unyielding drive. Balancing a full-time job as a paraprofessional in the local school system while pursuing her education reflects her unparalleled dedication and passion for teaching. She hopes to one day be a leader in front of her own classroom.
